I have decided what motivates me to work. I used to think it was the competition... the challenge to win...to get the application and claim victory. I have decided that competition is the 2nd most motivating thing for me.
Number one on the list is "travel"!
I love to travel. And my new obsession is Jackson Hole, Wyoming. And I hope that my Bible study buds from Benton can join me for this trip. (If others want to go, we can take two vehicles or rent a passenger van. The more, the merrier!)
My new goal, as of last night, is to be in Wyoming by October 12. I can fly (roundtrip) to Denver for a little more than $200. I can rent a car/small SUV/mini-van for less than $400 for a week. Teton Lodge in Jackson Hole is only $119 a night in October! And hopefully, gas will stay less than $2.50/gallon.
The Jackson Hole Golf Course is closed after October 15. If I get there on the 12th, I can play golf at least once and enjoy a day or two in Yellowstone. (Golf is $95/round in October.)
So, I guess I better get busy and work!!!!
